Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use chowilson.com, buy from our shop, enroll in a course, or request one of our services. By placing an order or creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account. We may suspend accounts that are used to break these terms or the law.

Orders and payment

• Prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Paystack. An order is confirmed only when your payment succeeds, and we'll email you a confirmation.
• Stock is held for you while you complete payment, but only for a limited time. If you don't pay in that time the order is cancelled.
• We may cancel an order (and refund it in full) if an item is unavailable or a price was shown in error.

Digital products and courses

Digital products and course access are for your personal use. Download links and course accounts are private to you — please don't share them, copy or resell the content, or share your login. When you buy a digital product or enroll in a course you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it; the content stays ours (or its authors').

Physical products and delivery

We'll contact you after your order to arrange delivery. Delivery times depend on your location and the carrier, and we'll keep you informed of any delays.

Refunds and returns

• Physical products — if an item arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you.
• Digital products and courses — because they're available immediately, they're generally non-refundable once downloaded or accessed. If something is wrong with a file or a course, contact us and we'll put it right or refund you where appropriate.
• Coaching and services — cancel or reschedule a booked session at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund or a new date.

Nothing here limits any rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.

Bookings and services

A booking request isn't confirmed until we reply and agree a date with you. Coaching, consulting and editing services are provided with reasonable skill and care, but we can't guarantee a particular outcome, such as publication or sales.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, gain unauthorised access, scrape it, send spam through our forms, or use it for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The site, its design, text, courses, images and downloads belong to ChoWilson or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce them without our written permission, except as these terms allow.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep the site available and accurate, but it's provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
